November has been very exciting. Our pot plants have thrived with all the rain. The herb garden has gone crazy with nasturtiums, apple mint, dill, lemon verbena and pineapple sage popping up everywhere. We have planted: potatoes, popcorn, strawberries, tomatoes, carrots, coriander, lettuce, sunflowers, silverbeet, capsicums and chilli.

Our first plant sale was a huge success with $110 made. All profits go back into the garden. Thanks to everyone who has supported this project.

We made a delicious fresh green salad garnished with nasturtium and borage flowers this month. Students were a little hesitant about eating flowers but with a bit of coaxing and a dash of mango dressing, most found the salad was very nice and refreshing on a hot day.
